I owe everyone a picture post. This is not it, however. There was a small snafu where I misplaced my battery charger and the batteries in the camera died. It has been located and the batteries are now charging.
The SKB is at a standstill. After 2 evenings of straight knitting, I cast off the neckline…and it was too big. I measured. I placed stitch markers. There are 6 stitches for every bloody inch. And the entire thing is too damn big. Argh! I thought I could alter it, but I can’t. It has to come out. The whole neckline. I’m gutted. It has to stay on hold for at least a week because I can’t bring myself to do it right now.
So I’ve cast on the Tilted Duster. That is going like a dream so far…the front pieces and back piece are done. I am knitting both sleeves at the same time because they’re flat sleeves and it will be a pain in my big rearend to finish one and then have to do a second one. It’s just how my mind works! So two at once is the way to go. They’re also moving swiftly along!
This blog needs a major update. In style, in format, and in information. I’ve been bored of this for a while, but finding time to settle down and pay attention to it has been trying lately due to stuff going on in my personal life. But I’m getting there.
