Ok, here it is – a little late…
And the back…this is the bit that makes it marginally less poncho-y:
See how it goes straight across the back? It makes it more of a modified shawl than a poncho, I think.
Here is a pic of me modelling it with all the bad bits cut out:

It’s cute, it’s warm, and I’ll probably wear it a lot when it gets cooler again. It seems to have gone from winter straight to summer here. Even if it got a tad chilly, I’d probably opt for my cotton poncho rather than an alpaca one.
Next up? Well, more socks. I finished the pair that I was working on…started a new pair. The Lorna’s Laces sock has been ripped back because I decided that I hated it. With such stripey yarn, the lace pattern was perhaps injudicious. I’ve gone for a chevron one in the Sensational Knitted Socks book. Photos to follow… But my next serious project MUST be the Simple Knitted Bodice. It *must*. I need to dye the yarn. Now that the weather has taken a turn for the lovely, I need a pot and the time to do it. Next couple of weekends, for sure. I can’t wait to start that thing!
