The Ravenclaw scarf is officially On The Needles. It’s the first time I’m using ciruclar needles and it’s going well, the bastard first row nonwithstanding. I bought some black and white yarn for the Star Wars scarf but I can’t start that yet! I spent most of yesterday knitting mini hats for the Innocent Drinks hats for charity. I have six. I will be posting pictures once I dig out my camera. They are adorable! There are too many things I want to do though…I need to find time for all of them. I would like to do Knitty’s Clapotis after Christmas as a possible pressie for my mother. The yarn they suggest is absolutely gorgeous but at £16 per 100 grams, it may be a bit rich for me. I’d be willing to pay money for nice stuff, but for one project I can’t see paying £48! Not at the moment, anyway. It isn’t any cheaper from the US either…$30 per hank. I wouldn’t mind spending half that, and with all the nice stuff I see in John Lewis’ I’m sure I can find something nice.
